WOW WOW WOW ! We spend 10 days with Dwayne (OAB overlanding) touring Botswana and a day trip to Zimbabwe! Here are a few of the many, many highlights! - • camping on the mystical Kubu Island in the middle of the Maghadigadi Pans • elephants walking though our camp in Nxai Pans • Baines Baobabs and assisting a traveller that have been stuck in the sand for 3 days! • Seeing Roan, elephant and even wild dogs on the drive to Kasane • 20 lion on the sunset cruise on the Chobe River • the day trip to the incredible Victoria Falls Hyena's visiting our campsite at Moghoto (Khwai) • the evening fireside chats after the adrenalin filled days and so many more memories that will last a lifetime!! Can't wait to do another adventure together!!
This is one of the highlights of staying in Kasane. We stayed for 4 days at the Chobe safari lodge and had the opportunity to go out with a privet boat cruise. We at OAB like to do the privet boat cruise, we have a good relationship with one of the best Chobe River guides
So, at Nxai Pans, it is all so great having a Jackal or a Hyena in camp in Bots Wilde camps but is extreme when a fully grown-up Elephant bull think it is time to come and visit you. Your heart starts to pound in your throat.
